Keynote speaker announcement: Preston So
Hot off DrupalCon Vienna and heading our way to start out the Friday in grand style is Acquia Director of Research and Innovation Preston So.
Decoupled Drupal, Internet of Things, Conversational interfaces - key themes for Drupal’s next decade as we push into the future. It’s a future that Preston lives and works in, shaping the approach to decoupled and taking it to the streets with talks at DrupalCon Baltimore and DrupalCon Vienna.
He’ll be bringing his insights and practical experiences, based on projects such as “Ask GeorgiaGov, an Alexa Skill for Citizens of Georgia” by Acquia Labs, and talking us through the implications for content strategy and usability when we move beyond the browser.
It will be an inspiring glimpse into what’s next for Drupal, and a fitting finale for our future focused sessions. If you haven’t seen what else is coming up, check out the proposed session list and start planning your trip.
Only two weeks to go until regular pricing finishes, get in now and secure your tickets to DrupalSouth. Two days of talks, hands-on sessions and socialising with Drupalers from all parts of the globe. You won’t want to miss this!
Note: Due to travel logistics, Preston has asked to take the Friday opening keynote. This was previously announced as closing keynote.
